I am inspired by plants and natural forms, as a gardener and a printmaker - from their colour and the detail of their structure to the visual impact they have on their surroundings. Laura Baxter is an English metalsmith and jeweller. She makes contemporary silver and gold precious jewellery, silverware, wall pieces and large public art works inspired by botanical forms. Made by hand, drawn from life. Mary Johnson makes slip decorated earthenware ceramics at her studio in Derbyshire. She lives and works from her pottery near Alciston, Lewes, East Sussex. Her range includes garden birdbaths, ceramic sculpture and tiles. She has been an exhibitor at the Chelsea Flower Show, the main event organised by the RHS, four times. In 2014, her stand received a three star trade stand award from the Show.
